POSITION
Summary:
Primary responsibility is to assist the Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager in the successful competition of assignments.
The Assistant Project Coordinator participates in coordinating project financials, daily logs, risk management and client/crew relations.
This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
This position requires you to be in the office M-F 7am-3:
30pm.
NO availability for remote/hybrid work.
Essential Functions:
Assist operations manager with invoicing, financials, risk management, and client relations of assigned projects from biggening to close out.
Work collaboratively with all employees including field employees.
Represent E&T Electric, LLC in a professional manner.
RESPONSABILITIES Assist the field and project team successfully and collaboratively.
Manage project files and flow of information for the project and headquarters.
Participate in developing and maintaining project schedule.
Assist operations manager with project financials and cost procedures.
Perform site safety walks (when necessary), promoting and enforcing safe work practices.
Keep track and records for deliveries schedules.
Also, receive deliveries.
Be able to manage construction site environment.
Keep a neat and clean office trailer.
Ensure employees have paperwork and forms required by the jobsite supervisors.
Experience in office admin duties.
Keep office organized, assist operations manager with office supply inventory, place office orders when needed, and assist with cleanness of work area.
Other office duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
Ability to work in a variety of environments, specially in a construction jobsite.
Education and
Experience:
Previous experience preferred.
Job training for this position is provided.
Physical Requirements:
Construction sites may expose workers to loud noises; harmful materials, fumes, or odors; and dangerous machinery, sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures when working outdoors.
Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and push/pull at a time.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs, gravel in construction site.
